Vintage & cozy wedding

Hi there!

A three-week break from publishing is way too long! All because in October we announced recruitment to the Margaret Paper Design team. Applications were coming in and I was trying to review them on a regular basis. This is our first DT and we are constantly discovering surprises related to this delightful occasion. What can I say... It's fantastic: great artists, enthusiasm for work and all this with a high level of satisfaction. Let this moment last for ever!!!!

I have 4 works to describe and publish, the first of which is today's wedding and baptism cards. I used sheets 10B for baptism and 12B for a wedding from the "Breeze Of Dreams" collection.

Cards were created in cooperation with Dusty Attic - you can once again admire their great chippies in action. I can assure you that you will look at these beautiful shapes on my works for a long time - I have a really large stock! Meanwhile, in the month of November there is a moodboard challenge in really fantastic colors and I made these two cards especially to inspire you to participate! All you have to do is add your work to the comments section of the Dusty FANattics Facebook group for a chance to win one of two amazing prizes of $50 (AUD) on purchases from their store. I can't wait to see your work on the Dusty FANAttics group.

Paper edges are frayed and sewed on the machine as it is my habbit. I secured the cut paper on the front with a colorless gesso and then applied the Large Dot stencil by Dusty Attic. After drying, I sprayed the pattern with mists in a shade of rotten green and brown.

Both cards have a satin ribbon to be hanged. The flowers are made by me from wipes, the live effect is much more delicate and subtle. The individual layers of the wipe separated during the formation of the flower and added a fanciful lightness to the work. Unfortunately, the photos of this charm do not fully reflect.

A piece of beige, linen lace protrudes from under the floral composition, leaves cut from carbon paper, chipboard leaves coloured with hot embossing and crumpled gauze. In the nooks and crannies you can see white pebbles and loosely thrown mini pompoms. I love them - they are so cute...

This time I included beautiful cardboard swirls and one length of a grid panel. I colored both shapes with white embossing powder, just like the mentioned leaves. Incredibly turns up the mood of a chipboard with a creative script, which I cut into smaller pieces and pasted so that it protrudes in several places from under the flowers. After securing it with clear gesso - I sprayed the same green mist. It turned out really nice.

Finally, I'd like to mention three bows that I put under the flowers: one made of a satin, beige ribbon, the other made of white string and the third is a paper strip made of a spool. On both cards there are mini butterflies, a piece of film strip is sticking out from under the flowers, and the whole is complemented by banners with the words "When calls the heart" and "As a souvenir" - from the aforementioned collection of papers.
