Romeo & Juliet Twin Cards

Obraz
I greet you today with two cards made for a wedding occasion. This was quite a work-intensive project, it took me three days to finish them. This is because I was struggling to arrange the space... But let's start from the beginning. My customer's expectations were quite clear: A maroon colour mixed with gold, with a reference to an Indian vibe, as the bride and groom have just such roots. I hadn't yet done an assignment with such a style, so it took me a while to go through my supplies in the workshop in search of matching elements. The paper is by Craft Sensations, embossed with a 3D embossing folder from Sizzix and then I highlighted the design very lightly with gold wax. The edges are sewn on the machine with my favourite stitch. The cards have hangers at the top with a delicate white ribbon. The main feature is, of course, the couples in love cut from the 'Romantic Moments' collection extras from Margaret Mycraftime. I've placed them on beautifully decorate

DL Cards - One More Twin Set

Hi there! It seems I've got into the habit of making cards in pairs. This solution suits me very well and works fantastically for creating stocks. What's the deal with the stocks? Well. Most of the artworks are created in my studio for a specific commission, but I then try to do a particular commission twice. This way I have a spare card when someone unexpectedly turns up with an urgent need, moreover, I put such spare cards in my Etsy shop and there a new customer might turn up who might stay with me for longer. How cool is this! Well then, today I present you more twins in style.... Hmmm... What do you think? Is it still glamorous or is it rustic? Sometimes I have trouble defining the style of my own artwork. I took the colour scheme from the ongoing Dusty Attic moodboard challenge on the blog. I think this palette is absolutely fantastic! Combining these colours has given me incredible satisfaction! As every month, I encourage all of you to take part in our challenge. All
