Boho Twin cards with Macrame

Obraz
Hi there! I'd like to present a greeting card made to order for a Wedding Anniversary. I put a lot of work and heart into it and now I'll tell you how it was created. But let me start by mentioning what my long-time client had in mind and asked me for: a colour scheme of bottle green with gold and graphite blue. The main attraction was to be macramé in any form, elegant style with wood elements. In my personal opinion, it came out beautifully boho - what do you think? It's rather normal with me that once a month I create a project in line with the colour challenge on the Dusty Attic blog. This colour combo really coincidentally fell into this challenge, I swear it's a coincidence which I was really thrilled about. The combination of these colours is truly madness. See the poster below.  I encourage all of you to take part in our challenge. of course. All you have to do is add your art work to the comments section of the  Dusty FANattics  Facebook group for a chance...

DL Cards - One More Twin Set

Obraz
Hi there! It seems I've got into the habit of making cards in pairs. This solution suits me very well and works fantastically for creating stocks. What's the deal with the stocks? Well. Most of the artworks are created in my studio for a specific commission, but I then try to do a particular commission twice. This way I have a spare card when someone unexpectedly turns up with an urgent need, moreover, I put such spare cards in my Etsy shop and there a new customer might turn up who might stay with me for longer. How cool is this! Well then, today I present you more twins in style.... Hmmm... What do you think? Is it still glamorous or is it rustic? Sometimes I have trouble defining the style of my own artwork. I took the colour scheme from the ongoing Dusty Attic moodboard challenge on the blog. I think this palette is absolutely fantastic! Combining these colours has given me incredible satisfaction! As every month, I encourage all of you to take part in our challenge. All ...

Wild and Free - 40th Birthday Card

Obraz
Hi there, Today I present a card made to order on the occasion of a 40th birthday for a woman who loves lions. When I heard the expectations from the client I knew almost immediately what to do with it. It's not always so easy for me to design the artwork, so I'm even more pleased about that. With the colour scheme I was helped by the ongoing moodboard challenge on the  Dusty Attic 's blog - totally awesome for me! I write you about it every time, so you definitely know you can take part too. There's a pack of  Dusty Attic 's chippies to be won - go for it! The base is a beige DL cardoard, distress-covered, and I've also distressed most of the elements to meet another client's wish for a vintage-style card. On the first layer of decorative paper you can see some washi tape, which sticks out from under the corrugated cardboard. I like this touch in my scrapbooking work, so some time ago I stocked up on whole sheets, which you can also find in the  Dusty A...
