Romeo & Juliet Twin Cards
I greet you today with two cards made for a wedding occasion. This was quite a work-intensive project, it took me three days to finish them. This is because I was struggling to arrange the space... But let's start from the beginning. My customer's expectations were quite clear: A maroon colour mixed with gold, with a reference to an Indian vibe, as the bride and groom have just such roots. I hadn't yet done an assignment with such a style, so it took me a while to go through my supplies in the workshop in search of matching elements. The paper is by Craft Sensations, embossed with a 3D embossing folder from Sizzix and then I highlighted the design very lightly with gold wax. The edges are sewn on the machine with my favourite stitch. The cards have hangers at the top with a delicate white ribbon. The main feature is, of course, the couples in love cut from the 'Romantic Moments' collection extras from Margaret Mycraftime. I've placed them on beautifully decorate...
