Hi there! Time to present you with the last project for this year 2023, which is two twin cards made on request. One, of course, went straight to its new home and the other one is for sale and you can find it in my shop on Etsy - here . The background is paper from the 'Breeze of Dreams' collection from Margaret Paper Design. The edges, of course, are sewn on the machine. The main attraction is the girl under the umbrella. it is rare for me to stamp and then colour the stamps. I always have the feeling that I'm not very good at it and somehow I avoid it. But it's also good to expand one's boundaries from time to time, right? So the Pro markers went into action and the girl's stamp is of course Gorjuss.  The composition is fantastically enriched by the wonderful cardboard doily , which I cut in half and each half ended up on one card. It is painted with white acrylic paint, and I also added some Firebird wax and 3D dots from Novo in silver.  The umbrella is a tri...

Christmas Cards Bundle 2023

Obraz
Hi there! This year I decided to make my Christmas cards in a rustic style. Some would probably class them as boho or even vintage style. In any case, I opted for soft pastel colours combined with natural brown, jute and white acrylic paint.  I didn't even for a moment doubt what I would use to enhance the composition of my little masterpieces, and I made a solid stock of Christmas cardboard at Dusty Attic. I cordially invite you to browse through all 16 cards, because each one is different. I know it's quite late for Christmas orders, but maybe I will still inspire someone before the upcoming holidays. Merry Christmas and happy New Year!! Dusty Attic's  products: Thanks and see you soon! Ankarika Craft (Fb)          Ankarika Craft (IG)

Men's World!

Hi there! A male project is a challanging experience! I haven't yet had a situation where I immediately know what I'm going to come up with when such an order comes in. I have a trick for this, which so far has worked out great. I ask my lovely customers about the likes and hobbies of the gentleman receiving the card. Someone would say I'm complicating things for myself, but for me it really is making it easier. It takes me a while to figure out how to use the information I've gathered, but then the work just rolls on by itself. So, as you can guess, this time it was a gentleman with a love of motorbikes. Come on, I'll tell you more! As a base I used the papers from the "Breeze of Dreams" collection from Margaret Paper Design. I cut out small elements from the cover of the collection: a woman with suitcases, kittens on chains and a motorbike. I glued these small elements with cardboard underneath for a 3D effect. The edges of the base are stitched on the...
